Life is full of ups, downs, twists, and turns. Messy is the word I use most to describe it.
Amid messes (yes, even church splits, pandemics, parenting fails, loss of loved ones, broken marriages, politics, and anxiety attacks), there are always messages. I like capturing those messages through writing.
During a big mess, I wrote my first children’s book, Tangled Up. Now, I am an award-winning author, and my second book is in the publishing process as we speak. I’ve been featured in several magazines, websites, blogs, podcasts, and more - and it’s not stopping! I never expected this, but that’s how God works, and I’m embracing it for the sake of mental health.
Regardless of the mess, we need to be having conversations about hardship and hope. Why? Because we are in this together, and together we will make it through. I hope you join me on my professional writing journey so we can keep the messages of hope flowing.
