Hi Friend! It's me, Jamie! I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to connect with you!

I was born and raised in Salem, Oregon. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and together we have three beautiful daughters. I have worn many hats, some of which include a homeschool mom, preschool director, family ministry director, author, ex-pat, ex-evangelical, and advocate for children's mental health. I know how difficult parenting (and life!) can be through years of experience working with children and raising my own. I hope you will find encouragement and hope by sharing my trials, triumphs, and sometimes hilarious stories. I would love to support and connect with you, so be sure to check out the resource links and media page and subscribe to my blog to keep up with the latest.

In addition to the above info, I have a lot going on. I am partnered with many mental health companies and advocates to help eliminate the stigma of seeking help.

I am also the author of the award-winning children's book Tangled Up, intended to lessen the fear of the unknown and shine a positive, peaceful light on mental health and therapy. Tangled Up colorfully shows how the beautiful threads of us can become tangled and how therapists and counselors are here to help us twirl bravely through life.

My second children's book, Be the Sparkle, is available now!  It teaches young readers that they are not alone and shows them positive ways to respond when the world feels dark.

Pssst... a third book is on its way!

More of my writings are featured online at RedTri.com, Parentology.com, ParentingHealthy.com, Swaay.com, and many more.  Visit the media page for links to my writings, podcasts, and interviews.

Remember, you are meant to flow unraveled through the ups and downs of life. You were made to swirl in bravery. You were made to create wonders and wander the world fiercely.

Love,
Jamie
